We have courses and gear rental every day all summer long at Balka beach. We are actually Denmarks first windsurfing school dating back to 1977.
Join in on hour snorkel tours. Every evening we have tours where we in inflateble boats dressed in warm wetsuits sail up the coast to either the caves or swim with seals.
Bjarke (49 years) is living on Bornholm and has been teaching on Balka beach for the past 30 years. In 2024 he celebrated his windsurfing student number 8.000. With a big smile he quarantines he can teach everyone to windsurf within a few hours. His goal is to reach 10.000 students. At that time he will go on pension - he says..!
We have a lot more gear than showed here and we chance it all the time. We have both beginner and pro windsurfing gear with sails from 1.5 - 7.8 and boards with volume from 130 - 250 liter.
Explorer the coast around Bornholm as captain on your own boat with friends and family. Our boats are spacious for up to 10 people and runs around 40 km/h. They do not require any form of driver license and can be sailed by everyone.
All our courses can be combined with sleep over. We over glamping tents by the beach, a retro surf camper and tiny houses. We cooperate with unik sleeping facilities around the island and we will be happy to arrange an active vacation for you and your family.
You will find a small coffee bar in the tent with coffee, the and limonade for our customers. Saturday evening we we celebrate our students of the week with "Saturday Surf Night" - an evening with beach dinner and bonefire.
We are located in the large white tent on Balka beach. For parking a car the is a large parking area at the north end of the beach next to Balka harbour which is also where you will arrive if you come with public transportation.
